When a pipe has only localized structural problems or localized I/I often CIPP UV cure spot repairs can installed robotically rather than using excavation or complete lining services.  Spot repairs can be a very cost-effective way of addressing various types of localized damage and can often be done in flow with no service disruption.
 

Eastern installs UV Cure spot repairs for 6”-30” mainline assets and is a certified installer of Cosmic spot repairs and installs lateral repairs from 2”-15” with UV LED technology from Speedylight.

In larger diameter gravity or pressure pipe when robotic entry is impractical Eastern installs various forms of internal pipe repairs via confined space entry.  These include manual chemical grouting for I/I, manual concrete repairs hand applied or sprayed or internal pressure pipe seals such as Hydratite.  Often solutions are used in combination for complex repairs.

Chemical grouting can be used as a standalone solution for I/I or can be used as a precursor to more complete rehabilitation solutions.  Eastern offers both robotic chemical grout for mainline and lateral mainline connections as well as manual chemical grouting via confined space entry.

Robotic cutting and milling is a core service both pre and post mainline lining for preparing the pipe and reinstating laterals.  The service can also be used standalone removing tough deposits, trimming laterals, removing blockages etc.  These tools have a variety of attachments for the most difficult small diameter situations.

Eastern has some very specialized tools for milling from 2”-30” pipe.
